Burning up the charts with “Sippin’ On Fire,” Florida Georgia Line scores the #1 spot on both Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week. The GOLD-certified hit is featured on their chart-topping, GOLD-certified sophomore album ANYTHING GOES (Republic Nashville) and follows the consecutive #1 smashes “Sun Daze” and “Dirt.”
The record-breaking pair will perform during the CMT Music Awards, airing Wednesday (6/10) at 8/7 CT. They are nominated in three categories: Video of the Year (“Dirt”) and two nods in the Duo Video of the Year (“Dirt” and “Sun Daze”). Fans can vote for Video of the Year on June 10, throughout the show (visit www.cmt.com for details). FGL will also take the stage at LP Field during CMA Music Fest on Thursday night (6/11), giving attendees a taste of their high-energy live show and massive appeal.
FGL continues to sell out dates on their headline ANYTHING GOES TOUR 2015, exclusively promoted by Live Nation, and solidifies their standing as the lead Country act on Billboard’s latest Hot Tours list. As the newest members of DEW Nation, Mountain Dew has been established as a tour sponsor. Always looking for ways to surprise and entertain crowds with out-of-the-box ideas – and more pyro – magician Justin Flom has been added to the lineup that also includes openers Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard. FGL also joins Luke Bryan’s KICK THE DUST UP TOUR as direct support.
The Superstar duo, who will release their new single “Anything Goes” tomorrow (6/9), filmed content for the music video during recent stops in West Palm Beach, FL; Tampa, FL and Birmingham, AL.
