Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard proudly announce the official grand opening of Tree Vibez Music today, April 29, 2015. Hanging their shingle out on Music Row, Tree Vibez Music is a fresh new publishing company with a moniker aptly inspired by Kelley’s custom treetop recording studio built by Pete Nelson for the hit show Treehouse Masters. At the heart of Tree Vibez Music there is a hunger to stay creative, work hard, and bring the good vibez.
When asked about the new venture, Brian Kelley shares, “The opportunity to start Tree Vibez Music with Tyler is a dream come true. Our goal is for people to feel our music, not just hear it. We want to have a Treehouse studio full of wizards bringing fresh sounds to your speakers.”
Out of the gates, Tree Vibez Music has signed emerging talent Jordan Schmidt. A native of Duluth, MN, Schmidt is a music producer, engineer, mix engineer, and songwriter who has worked with Motion City Soundtrack, One Ok Rock, All Time Low, Quietdrive, among others. He was drawn to music at an early age, picking up the guitar when he was 10 years old, and started recording local artists at the age of 16.
“We are so proud that Jordan is the first songwriter/producer we are signing. He is a game changer in music and has the unique ability to write at least five songs a week across five different genres,” says Brian Kelley. “He fits right in. His radio-friendly tracks are slammin’ and we can’t wait for fans to hear his music!”
Tyler Hubbard adds,“We are excited to sign more writers/artists/producers that want to come create and dream with us. I can’t think of a better way to kick start Tree Vibez Music than signing Jordan.”
The superstar duo is taking their undeniable songwriting talent to the next level and is guaranteed to be a powerful force in today’s music business.
