The Academy of Country Music announced today that fan voting is now open for the ACM Entertainer of the Year and ACM New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl’s awards. Country music fans have the power to choose the winners by casting their votes now with voting partner CBS.com at VoteACM.com.
The awards will be given out during the LIVE broadcast of the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards, co-hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 8:00 PM – 11:30PM ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
This year, fans will once again have the opportunity to help select the winner of the Academy’s most prestigious honor, Entertainer of the Year, for which Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, and Florida Georgia Line are the nominees. Fan voting for Entertainer of the Year will close during the third hour of the LIVE broadcast. Also, fans will help choose the ACM New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl’s, for which Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, and Cole Swindell are the nominees. Fan voting for the New Artist of the Year category will close at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT on Sunday, April 19 (before the LIVE telecast begins).
Online voting for both categories is open to fans in the United States, Canada and Australia. Text voting for Entertainer of the Year during the live broadcast is open to fans in the United States only.
