Ten years after his first single hit radio and just a week after claiming his 15th No. one hit, two-time ACM “Male Vocalist of the Year” Jason Aldean has released the rhythmic track “Tonight Looks Good On You” as the latest single off his ACM nominated, PLATINUM album OLD BOOTS, NEW DIRT.
“I think my sound has definitely evolved and you can hear that in this new single,” said Aldean. “I’ve loved this song since the first time I heard it…it’s smooth and has a really sexy vibe that’s almost a little bit intoxicating. I just appreciate the opportunity to release all different kinds of songs and try different things, and that we’ve been able to sort of do it our own way and that the fans have followed right along with us.”
Next up, Aldean will perform on the upcoming 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards, where he’ll play his multi-week No. one PLATINUM smash “Burnin’ It Down” which is also nominated for “Country Song of the Year.”
Aldean is currently nominated for three awards at the upcoming 50th Annual ACM Awards including “Entertainer of the Year,” “Male Vocalist of the Year” and “Album of the Year” for OLD BOOTS, NEW DIRT, airing April 19 on CBS. Aldean is in the midst of his 2015 BURN IT DOWN TOUR, which has been hailed by critics as a “game-changing run” (Billboard) with upcoming shows in Toledo, OH, Peoria, IL and Cedar Falls, IA following his first-ever European trek.
