Brantley Gilbert offered a heartfelt thank you to the fierce BG Nation while accepting the Renegade Award during last night’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, surpassing Meaghan Trainer, Charli XCX, Iggy Azalea and Hozier. The fan-voted honor recognizes artists who break boundaries while remaining true to themselves.

Exploring new sounds, the Georgia native’s third studio album JUST AS I AM has been certified GOLD, notched the third-highest Country debut of 2014 and scored a spot at #2 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 chart.
