Sad news was announced today from Reba McEntire, her father passed away last night, October 23. Clark McEntire, 86, was a champion rodeo roper in his time, and leaves behind his wife Jacqueline, son Pake and daughters Reba, Susie and Alice.
Reba reached out to her social media channels today and posted,“Daddy passed away last night in Coalgate, OK at 11 pm CST. He had been in the nursing home for a while and we’re very thankful he is not suffering anymore. He was a born and bred cowboy through and through. He had been sick for 5 years. It makes total sense to me, he always told us kids never to run your horse to the barn. He was just taking his time to go on home.”
