Chase Rice is quickly becoming a popular name in country music. His gold certified single “Ready Set Roll” is making its way up the country charts, and he is gearing up to release his new studio album, IGNITE THE NIGHT.
Chase has been busy on the road this summer, not only on the Riser Tour with Dierks Bentley, but also with several of his own tour dates as well! CountryMusicRocks got the opportunity to catch Chase Rice in concert on Monday, August 4, as he rocked the Clark County Fairgrounds. Chase kicked off his set with the title song of his previous album, “Dirt Road Communion,” and immediately conveyed that a party was ahead for the evening.
Rice took a Monday night at a county fair, and turned it all the way up to 10 with a rockin’ performance from start to finish. Chase delivered a wide array of music from his collection that included songs from his previous album, Dirt Road Communion and Ready Set Roll EP, as well as showcased brand new music from his forthcoming album IGNITE THE NIGHT which fans instantly embraced. In addition to his own songs, Rice treated the crowd to a medley of hit songs from multiple genres. It was fun & exciting, and the crowd loved every moment of it. While Chase travels with a full, talented band, the 4 band members left the stage leaving Rice alone with his acoustic guitar to perform “Jack Daniels and Jesus.” The song is powerful and full of meaning as Chase brought attention to his softer side. The evening came to a close with a solid encore that included the mega-hit single “Cruise,” which he serves as a co-writer, and “Ready Set Roll.” Chase Rice is not only a talented singer and songwriter, but it was also established throughout the evening that he is a solid performer and entertainer.
