Jerrod Niemann’s RIAA Gold-certified multi-week #1 country smash, “Drink to That All Night,” is poised to reach a whole new audience in a special remix featuring worldwide superstar Pitbull.
Serviced to pop radio, the song in its remixed version is available for sale now at all digital providers, including here: http://smarturl.it/dttanpitbull.
About the remix, Niemann shared, “It’s so exciting. Pitbull is just awesome! I can think back to when Nelly and Tim McGraw did a song a while ago, and whenever you have two genres of music come together, that kind of fusion is just fun to me, not just because of what comes of it musically, but also in terms of introducing listeners to different styles and songs that they might never have heard otherwise. To be able to step in and do anything with Pitbull is an amazing opportunity, and I’m glad that he liked the song and cared enough about it to do it.”
“I want to thank Jerrod for the opportunity,” said Pitbull. “I love this record because that’s what we love to do, have fun and drink Voli, but most important and goes to show – music is the true universal language, Daleee!”
Gary Overton, Chairman and CEO of Niemann’s label group home, Sony Music Nashville, said, “We thought, if we’re gonna dream…dream BIG! Pitbull is a huge worldwide superstar and musically would be perfect for a Pop remix. RCA New York loved the idea, and so did Pit and his manager. His added rapping took it to the stratosphere. We played the rough mix for some Pop radio programmers who said it was so strong that they’d spin it immediately if we gave it to them!”
The original version of “Drink to That All Night” is featured on Niemann’s current album, High Noon, available here: http://smarturl.it/ituneshighnoon.
