Jason Aldean Returns To Hometown For “Concert For The Kids”

Today, two-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean announced he will return to his hometown of Macon, GA for a second Concert For The Kids on Friday, August 11th. After raising more than half a million dollars at last year’s intimate stripped-down performance, Aldean will expand to the Macon Coliseum this year.

All proceeds will once again benefit the Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health, which serves as Bibb County’s only dedicated pediatric facility in central Georgia that enhances the lives of children through patient care, research and education. Tickets go on-sale to the public beginning this Friday (6/23) at 10:00A ET on JasonAldean.com, Ticketmaster.com and the venue box office during normal business hours.

“Supporting these kids in Macon and their families is something that I’m really proud to be a part of,” said Aldean. “We’re looking forward to getting back to town, kicking things up a couple notches and hopefully raise a huge amount of money for the hospital so that they can continue to grow and serve my hometown community.”

“We are thrilled and so very appreciative that Jason made the time to take a detour from his THEY DON’T KNOW TOUR to visit Macon for the benefit of our patients at Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health,” added Ellen Terrell, Chief Development Officer for Navicent Health Foundation. “Our young patients and their families are grateful for Jason’s continued commitment to their healing and care. Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health has always relied on philanthropic support, and we are grateful to each of our donors for their commitment to Georgia’s most fragile children.”

Eli Young Band Release Latest Album FINGERPRINTS

Road-warrior brothers ELI YOUNG BAND have been performing together across the globe, and today release their 11-track album FINGERPRINTS as a return to sonic roots and celebration of those who have had a hand in their successes along the way.

Out now, the new music is the MULTI-PLATINUM-selling band’s first on The Valory Music Co. imprint and features songwriting credits from namesake members lead singer Mike Eli and guitarist James Young. They recorded the album in Nashville alongside co-producers Ross Copperman and Jeremy Stover, showcasing a mix of heartfelt lyrics over driving rhythms.

Taste of Country raved “ no matter if it’s an emotive ballad such as ‘Skin & Bones,’ or an in-your-face striker such as ‘Fingerprints,’ Eli always sonically hits the edgy, romantically-charged lyrics the band has become known for” and Texas Monthly surmises FINGERPRINTS is “…the band’s most consistently satisfying record.”

While the band just last week launched “Never Land” on SiriusXM’s The Highway and exclusively premiered music video with ETOnline.com, they are surprising fans today with another cinematic creation for “Skin & Bones.” Watch now. Eli Young Band has always maintained a strong connection with their fans and the bonus music video is a reminder with several scenes filmed during a run of their live shows with videographer Lance Goodman.

Their robust touring schedule has given Eli Young Band several opportunities to try out new songs on audiences nationwide and gauging long-time fans’ reaction, who’ve streamed their career catalogue over 500 million times. In addition to selling out venues coast to coast, they have previously toured with contemporaries such as Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker and Dave Matthews Band.

Michael Ray Releases New Single “Get To You”

After a quiet few months following his No. 1 smash “Think A Little Less,” Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville recording artist Michael Ray is diving into the summer with brand new music. “Get To You,” the first single from his upcoming sophomore album, is available now. Written by Abe Stoklasa and Pavel Dovgalyuk, the song asks a girl who has been hurt to take another chance at love.

The singer/songwriter and performer treated fans to music old and new this past week at CMA Music Festival, where he played shows at his own sold-out fan party at Warner Music Nashville, HGTV Lodge, the Concert for Love & Acceptance and Chevrolet Riverfront Stage. The latter performance gave Ray and the audience a moment to remember when country music legend Randy Travis joined him on stage to sing “Forever and Ever, Amen.” Travis, who is still recovering from a stroke he suffered in 2013, joined the crowd in singing and closed with a final “Amen.”

“The fan support I’ve received in the two and a half years since my debut single premiered has been unbelievable – it has carried me through two No. 1 songs and hundreds of performances,” said Ray. “Now it is time to get those fans some new music. I am so excited to put ‘Get To You’ into the hands of the people who have supported me the most!”

Ray recently earned his second No. 1 hit single with “Think A Little Less.” The track has earned over 1.1 billion airplay audience impressions, more than 32 million on-demand streams, has sold 500,000 track equivalents and is one of the Top 10 most-downloaded country songs of the year so far. When the debut single “Kiss You In The Morning” from his self-titled album hit the top of the charts, Ray became the only new male country artist to have a No. 1 single in 2015.
