Lindsay Ell Set To Release Her Version of John Mayer’s Continuum Album

Country star Lindsay Ell took to social media to announce news long-awaited by legions of fans: Ell will release her version of John Mayer’s Continuum album on Friday, May 25. Lindsay Ell’s The Continuum Project, co-produced and co-engineered by Ell, will be available at all digital retailers and streaming services.

Beginning as a homework assignment from producer Kristian Bush (Sugarland) in preparation to record her debut album, Ell was given two weeks to reimagine her all-time favorite desert island record, recording every single instrument and singing every part alone in her studio. The process led her to emerge with a renewed creative discovery and vision for how she plays, writes and records her own music. The end-result of Bush’s unique assignment became her critically-lauded No. 1 debut album, The Project.

Ell explains, “Recording Continuum was the thing that started it all. Kristian taught me some of the most valuable lessons as my producer from this ‘homework’ assignment. He gave me three rules: I needed to play all the instruments myself, I needed to record it alone in my studio, and I had two weeks. Through it all, I remembered all the things I first loved about making music. I can’t wait for my fans to hear the music that helped shaped ‘Criminal’ and The Project!”

The whirlwind doesn’t stop for Ell who just wrapped a year-long run on Brad Paisley’s Weekend Warrior World Tour. Meanwhile, the multi-instrumentalist is set to join Sugarland’s Still the Same Tour in July ahead of supporting select dates of Keith Urban’s Graffiti U World Tour this fall.

Adding to the excitement, Ell collaborated with Urban on a brand new track “Horses,” featured on his just-released album Graffiti U, available everywhere now. Her current single “Criminal” is Top 20 at U.S. Country radio and recently landed atop Canadian Country Radio Charts. Watch the music video here.

Chris Lane Strikes Gold with Hit Single “Take Back Home Girl” featuring Tori Kelly

Moments after he “got the crowd going” (The Orange County Register) with his Stagecoach debut, Big Loud Records star CHRIS LANE was surprised with a GOLD plaque commemorating 500,000 sales and streams of his current single “Take Back Home Girl” featuring GRAMMY-nominated artist TORI KELLY. The infectious track has been certified GOLD in both the U.S. and Canada by the RIAA, while garnering a striking 100 MILLION combined streams and ascending into the Top 15 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Marking his third consecutive GOLD single, “Take Back Home Girl” joins the ranks of Lane’s #1 debut “Fix” and Top 10 “For Her.”  Written by Hillary Lindsey, Josh Miller and David Garcia, “Take Back Home Girl” is the first look at Lane’s sophomore album due out this summer.

“I can’t think of a better way to kick off album number two than with a GOLD single. The response on ‘Take Back Home Girl’ has been the biggest of my career and I’m so excited to share this moment with my team,” says Lane. “I definitely want to shout out to Tori Kelly, she’s an amazing singer and the perfect fit for this song. Having her be part of it makes it even more special.”

Already riding a hot streak for Summer 2018, Lane has scored his first-ever Radio Disney Music Awards nomination, as “Take Back Home Girl” vies for “Play It Again! – Radio Disney Country Favorite Song.” Click HERE to vote for “Take Back Home Girl.”

Lane and Kelly recently showcased the track with a “hearts-on-fire performance” (Rolling Stone) on the April 2 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The single is featured on Lane’s current EP, TAKE BACK HOME, a 4-song project giving fans a taste of what’s to come.

Kelsea Ballerini Wraps Sold Out Unapologetically Tour

Following her successful headlining debut with 2016’s sold-out THE FIRST TIME TOUR, Black River Entertainment’s KELSEA BALLERINI has reached another touring milestone with THE UNAPOLOGETICALLY TOUR. Selling out all 15 stops, the bona fide trailblazer wrapped her in-demand, worldwide trek in Santa Barbara, CA, (4/25) before performing at the famed Stagecoach festival on Friday (4/27).

From filling the pews of Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, to traveling across the world to her now-second home of Australia to hit capacity at Sydney’s Metro Theatre, THE UNAPOLOGETICALLY TOUR pushed Ballerini’s superstardom even further with several “mountaintop moments” and notable major city stops in New York, NY, and Seattle, WA. Concluding her thematic two-month journey of loss, life, and love – as chronicled on her acclaimed sophomore album UNAPOLOGETICALLY – at Stagecoach, Ballerini was dubbed the “Strongest Stagecoach debut” by The Press-Enterprise during her first full set at the annual music festival.

“Every piece of this show has been so intentionally made with heart, and if you’ve been able to make it out to one of the stops I hope you’ve felt that love like we have,” Ballerini shared on Instagram in regards to THE UNAPOLOGETICALLY TOUR. “Thank you for listening to a new album played from top to bottom, thank you for making posters and T-shirt’s with your favorite lyrics, thank you for painting your faces in glitter and for letting yourselves go on the Unapologetically journey with me every night.”

Beginning on June 15 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO, she will hit the road again as Keith Urban’s special guest on the GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR running through November 3 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. The billing is very special to Ballerini, as Urban’s hit “Stupid Boy” inspired her to start writing Country music as a teen. Penned by Ballerini alongside Shane McAnally and Trevor Rosen, “I Hate Love Songs” is her current chart-rising follow-up to her history-making #1 “Legends.”

Vying for multiple titles at upcoming award shows, Ballerini is nominated for Top Country Female Artist at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards airing May 20 live from Las Vegas on NBC. After taking home two ARDY statuettes plus co-hosting the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards, she’s also up for three nods including The Bestest – Radio Disney Country Favorite Artist, Play It Again! – Radio Disney Country Favorite Song (“Legends”), and all-genre XOXO – Best Crush Song (“Legends”), this year. The sixth annual event will take place at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, CA, and air on the Disney Channel, as well as additional Disney-branded platforms, on June 23. Fan voting is now open through June 3.

He started out in the LLUCH Toyota Learning Center, playing games with patients and sharing stories with some students about his struggles in school, encouraging them to keep trying no matter their situation.

LLUCH patient Jennifer Nguyen, 5, from Moreno Valley, was just one child who was excited to meet and talk with Brown. When Brown came into the room, Nguyen insisted on getting up out of bed, and couldn’t stop smiling as Brown talked with her about what made her happy. They ended the visit with a hug.

Brown’s visit was made possible by Inland Empire-based country radio station K-FROG 95.1 FM, which has a long-standing relationship with the hospital.

LLUCH Foundation representative, Tiffany Hoekstra, said she was grateful to K-FROG and Brown for making the day for patients and their families.
