Rising hitmaker Riley Green is set to make his national TV debut appearance on NBC’s TODAY with Kathie Lee and Hoda, Monday (1/7). Riley will perform his Top 15-and-climbing single “There Was This Girl,” a song about how simply noticing a pretty smile can quickly grow into thoughts of buying a ring.
Recently making his Grand Ole Opry debut, Riley has been selected for the inaugural class of the Opry’s NextStage Program as well as one of CMT’s Listen Up Artists for 2019 and MusicRow’s 2019 Next Big Things.
Currently on his headlining OUTLAWS LIKE US TOUR, Riley has quickly garnered praise with Taste of Country declaring, “Riley Green is the newcomer to see,” and he “is clearly an artist on the cusp of stardom.”
Fueled with good-natured rebellion, respect for tradition and steady touring throughout the Southeast, his music has tallied over 71 million streams to date as he has built a fierce following on social media and at live shows. Named one of Rolling Stone Country’s “Artists You Need to Know,” his recently released IN A TRUCK RIGHT NOW EP on BMLG Records was produced by Dann Huff. The project highlights his songwriting capabilities with relatable songs such as “Same Old Song,” “Break Up More Often” and “In A Truck Right Now.”
