Danielle Bradbery has confidently found what she wants to say on her forthcoming, long-awaited sophomore album I DON’T BELIEVE WE’VE MET (BMLG Records). With her “infectious” (Billboard) lead single “Sway” already psyching fans up for the release, the pitch-perfect vocalist released the video for “Human Diary,” and fans can get it now digitally when they pre-order the album on iTunes.
The vocal powerhouse shared the video exclusively with Rolling Stone Country which features a stripped-down Bradbery. Watch here
“I was immediately brought to tears when I first heard ‘Human Diary,'” Bradbery shared with Rolling Stone Country about the vulnerable song. “It’s such a relatable song, and I really wanted to expose what I was feeling that day. Everyone knows what it feels like to put their trust in someone and then feel robbed when they walk away, so I feel like this is a perfect taste of what I was going for on this album — pure honesty.”
“Human Diary,” written by one of the album’s producers, Josh Kerr, along with GRAMMY® Award winner Emily Weisband, chronicles the heartache of the end of a relationship as the other person walks away with all of your secrets…‘Cause you were my human diary / So when you left you didn’t just leave / No, you took all my secrets with you.
Bradbery’s current single “Sway,” is available now at digital retailers and streaming services and impacts Country radio August 28.
As the title suggests, I DON’T BELIEVE WE’VE MET is a reintroduction of Bradbery after taking four years to begin the songwriting journey and hone her sound. Always going to her fans first, she’s shared her journey with a five-chapter video series that fans unlocked, telling her story as she went here: http://bit.ly/DBvids.
