After taking some much needed time off to enjoy the holiday season, Dan + Shay returned to the road full steam ahead this past weekend resuming their Obsessed Tour. Featuring special guests Bailey Bryan and Jackie Lee throughout select dates of the tour, the duo continues to make an incredible impact on fans and the country music industry.
“How Not To” has been making a massive impression since its release, and is quickly climbing the country radio charts. The official music video, conveying a powerful message, was released a mere three weeks ago and already has over ONE MILLION views.
This past weekend, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney performed multiple sold-out shows while in the Illinois and Iowa areas. It is evident that fans are obsessed with the country duo and their new music, and it is further demonstrated in the videos below of fans singing their new single “How Not To” and No. 1 Platinum Certified single “From The Ground Up” back to them. The connection Smyers and Mooney instill with their fans night after night is something fierce, and they continue to raise the bar each time they step on stage.
In addition to their successful single “How Not To,” the duo is gearing up for the release of new single “When I Pray For You” which will be impacting country radio on March 6. “When I Pray For You,” noted as “one of the most special songs we’ve ever written,” is part of the upcoming movie The Shack, and can be found on the official motion picture soundtrack available on February 24. The music video, just released last week, has already amassed over half-million views and continues to climb.
