Huge news coming out of Nashville today for Little Big Town. During a press conference at the iconic Ryman Auditorium, it was announced that the award winning band will launch “Little Big Town at the Mother Church” residency, which will include six nights in 2017 starting on February 24. This will serve as the first ever residency at the Ryman Auditorium.

“As musicians, there is no better feeling in the world than playing on the stage at the Ryman,” said Little Big Town’s Jimi Westbrook.  “To be given the opportunity to headline their first residency means so much to us as a band and we promise to make each night as memorable for the fans as possible.”

“To launch our 125th-anniversary celebration we wanted to do something new – a Ryman residency,” said Sally Williams, General Manager of the Ryman. “Little Big Town consistently bring to the table fresh, exciting creations. ‘Little Big Town at the Mother Church’ will be no exception.  We’re honored to celebrate this major milestone with them and to cement their place in Ryman history moving forward.”

Each show will be unique and will include different openers. For a complete list of residency dates and ticket information, please visit bit.ly/2e5PIws.

In addition to the news of LBT’s residency, the band is also set to release their seventh studio album, The Breaker, on February 24. Of their new album Karen Fairchild shares, “The Breaker is about letting go of things that break you, it’s about the new ground you try and break as a human being and as a musician.  Sometimes you’re the one that’s broken and sometimes you’re the breaker. It’s a sentimental record because we’re feeling super grateful for our friends and family and the chance to share the next chapter.”

The album will feature lead single “Better Man” which it was revealed today that it was written by Taylor Swift. The video for the hit single, directed by Becky Fluke and Reid Long, made its world premiere today as well.
