Kip Moore’s latest skatepark opened yesterday, 7/28, in Cincinnati, OH, and is part of his “Comeback Kid Skatepark Project.” The Warsaw Federal Skatepark provides skaters with a 35-foot-by-68-foot pump track, three grind rails and a Hubba skate ledge. Moore was in attendance for the grand opening of the park, and surprised kids with free skateboards, knee pads, helmets, and backpacks filled with shirts and socks.

The “Comeback Kid Skatepark Project” is the first initiative from Moore’s “Kip’s Kids Fund” which is a fund through the Community Foundation of Middle Tennesee that focuses on youths and teens.  To date, five skateparks have been opened through this fund with locations including Boston, Nashville, San Marcos, Annapolis, and most recently Cincinnati. Donations to “Kip’s Kids Fund” can be made here.

“I’m always searching for purpose in my life,” said Kip Moore. “I battle the feeling of if I’m doing enough with the small amount of time I have on this earth each day. I’m so blessed to get to do what I do, but I have always believed with those blessings come responsibility. Days like today give me that feeling of purpose. I get to see a direct impact in a needed community. I get to see the smiles on these kid’s faces and the positive impact it creates. There are so many things I wanna do in the inner cities and this is just the beginning.”
