Billy Ray Cyrus is back! Not only with brand new music, but also with a new television series, Still The King, premiering Sunday, June 12, at 9pm ET/PT on CMT. Check out the trailer for the new series here.
Cyrus is set to release a brand new album, Thin Line, on September 9. Cyrus describes his new collection of music as, “How I live my life; it’s a balance between art and reality.”
Three new tracks will be released as the album launch date approaches. The first single, “Hey Elvis,” is available now and coincides with his new Still The King tv series. Written by Bryan Adams and Gretchen Peters, Cyrus fell in love with the song nearly two decades ago. Billy joins forces with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Glenn Hughes, and the two artists bring “Hey Elvis” to life in the brand new music video.
In addition to “Hey Elvis” being released in advance of the album, Cyrus’ cover of “Tulsa Time,” a Don Williams classic, will become available on July 8, and the album titled track, “Thin Line,” will be available on August 12.
