Following a summer of playing to packed houses across the country on their RIOT TOUR 2015, CMA “Vocal Group Of The Year” nominees Rascal Flatts will head to NYC for the live television debut of their new single “I Like The Sound Of That,” this Friday (10/9) on TODAY at 8am ET on NBC.
The trio recently wrapped their RIOT TOUR 2015 where “the band shook things up” (St. Louis Post Dispatch) and performed “a concert that deftly mixed the trio’s best-known hits with a short medley of convincing covers in a crowd-pleasing 90-minute set… this tour is a particularly strong showcase for their songs.” (OC Register) As one of the hottest-selling acts on tour in any genre, having sold 9 million concert tickets to date, this summer’s run brought the group coast to coast and even included a pitstop playing a special Fourth of July show with the legendary Rolling Stones.
Adding to their accolades, the title track from their latest Big Machine Records release, REWIND, was just certified PLATINUM by the RIAA. The group’s latest single “I Like The Sound Of That” is taken from their ninth studio album, REWIND, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, making them one of only four acts during the SoundScan era to have eight consecutive studio albums debut in the top spot.
