As excitement builds ahead of CHATTANOOGA UNITE: A TRIBUTE ON THE RIVER, Brantley Gilbert humbly prepares for a bittersweet homage to five courageous fallen soldiers. Slated to headline Wednesday night (9/16), the Multi-Platinum selling artist has invited pals Trace Adkins, Colt Ford & Aaron Lewis to the Riverfront stage for a star-studded concert honoring the military families and community.
An avid supporter of the military, Brantley felt a call to action when he heard the news of the tragic July 16 shooting. The hit singer/songwriter, who has racked up six #1 singles, impressive Platinum-selling albums and multiple award show nominations, announced the special concert on-air with local radio station WUSY.
Brantley’s set will culminate the day-long celebration, which also includes performances by Harry Connick, Jr. and Jamey Johnson as well as a memorial ceremony emceed by Chattanooga native Samuel L. Jackson. Full details on the Armed Forces parade and other festivities can be found at ChattanoogaUnite.org.
In lieu of ticket fees, attendees are encouraged to make donations at collection bins placed throughout the event or online: ChattanoogaUnite.org.
Funds will benefit The National Compassion Fund.
