Brantley Gilbert has spent the last few months celebrating personally and professionally. The rough-and-tumble hitmaker today offers a glimpse into an impactful motorcycle ride with the Wounded Warrior Project® that helped launch their Rolling Odyssey therapy program over Memorial Day Weekend.
The “One Hell Of An Amen” singer, whose single entered Country radio’s Top 5 this week, embarked on a 48-hour trek from Houston to Baton Rouge and formed strong bonds with ten Wounded Warrior Project® riders while sharing stories about life. Making four stops at Harley-Davidson dealerships along the way, the video follows the group as they cruise down the highway and greet fans at each dealership with Brantley performing songs from Just As I Am Platinum Edition (The Valory Music Co.). Brantley continues his dedication to service men and women who fight the good fight, appearing on FOX & Friends last month to present one of the riders with tickets to the CMT Music Awards. Staff Sergeant Justin Patterson and his wife represented Brantley’s Collaborative Video of the Year nomination for “Small Town Throwdown” ft. Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett during the awards live broadcast in Nashville.
Just As I Am Platinum Edition summited iTunes Top Country Albums chart upon release and currently holds the #8 spot on 2015’s Top Country Albums chart. Having penned each of the 19 tracks, the Georgia native showed a more intimate look into this chapter of his life, including the title track “Just As I Am.” The project serves as a thank you to the passionate BG Nation for their support of 2014’s Just As I Am, which took home the AMA for Favorite Country Album.
The talented rebel-rouser will join Kenny Chesney in Minneapolis for two nights on THE BIG REVIVAL TOUR at Target Field this weekend. He will headline The Chelsea theater in Las Vegas on July 24. For tour dates and more, visit BrantleyGilbert.com.
