Martina McBride’s ‘Everlasting’ Tour has already seen the “petite powerhouse” (Rolling Stone Country) play sold-out shows across the country this year and will continue through the fall with 40 additional dates — seven of which have already sold-out.
Backed by an 11-piece band — including trumpet, tenor sax, bari sax and trombone and a trio of back-up singers — Martina’s live show brings the iconic sounds of the ’50s and ’60s from her ‘Everlasting’ album alive. “We’ve worked hard to put together a show that is visually entertaining as well as very rich musically,” shares Martina. “There’s so much for the audience to see and experience.”
“It’s familiar music coming from the one of the most recognizable voices of any genre, yet with a stage plot unlike anything in McBride’s illustrious 22-year career” (Rolling Stone Country).
The four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year puts her own spin on some of her favorite R&B and soul classics including the Supremes’ “Come See About Me,” Van Morrison’s “Wild Night” and Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” but also performs fan favorites like “A Broken Wing,” “Love’s The Only House,” “This One’s For The Girls,” “Independence Day,” and “In My Daughter’s Eyes.”
“I feel like this show really takes the audience on a musical journey,” says McBride. “The songs from Everlasting and my hits blend seamlessly together throughout the night.”
Seven dates on the Fall leg have already sold-out, including Meridian, MS, Forrest City, AR, Lake Charles, LA, two dates in Nashville, Midland, TX and Dayton, OH. For a full list of tour dates, please visit martinamcbride.com/tour.
On October 7th, she will release her first book, ‘Around The Table,’ a full-color illustrated collection of Martina’s favorite recipes, entertaining tips, practical menu planning advice, and themed décor inspiration.
