Russell Dickerson, along with his wife, Kailey, are being recognized for making a real difference off the stage. The country couple have been named the 2026 recipients of the Angels Among Us Award for their longtime support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
If you’ve followed Russell over the years, you’ve probably seen him show up for St. Jude time and time again, whether it’s through the #ThisShirtSavesLives campaign, the Bobby Bones Million Dollar Show, Dream Home® Giveaway, hospital visits or spending time with patients and their families. Together, Russell and Kailey have been passionate advocates for the organization, helping raise awareness and support through countless events, campaigns and special appearances.
Russell and Kailey will be honored during the 36th Annual Country Cares Seminar, an invitation-only event taking place October 20 and 21 at the iconic Peabody Hotel in Memphis. Russell will also take the stage during the Angels Among Us dinner, while Anne Wilson, HARDY and Lauren Alaina are set to perform throughout the two-day event.
It’s a well-deserved honor for the Dickersons, who will join past recipients like Keith Urban, Old Dominion, Lady A, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker and Brothers Osborne. Their support has helped shine a light on the incredible work St. Jude does for children and families, making this recognition about much more than music.
Through Music Gives to St. Jude Kids®, the country music community continues to make a huge impact. With the help of more than 350 radio and music partners, the initiative raises more than $70 million each year to support St. Jude’s lifesaving research and treatment for children battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
