Fans have been speculating that a new collaboration between Koe Wetzel and Ella Langley was on the way, and now it’s official. After days of fan theories sparked by a mysterious Nashville billboard, cryptic social media posts and even a voicemail teaser, Koe Wetzel has finally made it official. His new single, “Jaded,” featuring Ella Langley, drops Friday, August 7.
The track marks the duo’s first collaboration since their Gold-certified song, “That’s Why We Fight.” Written by Wetzel, Langley, Jordan Schmidt and ERNEST, “Jaded” is a heartfelt duet about two people looking back on a relationship and wondering how things went so wrong.
“Ella’s been one of my favorite people to write and sing with for a long time,” says Wetzel. “We recorded ‘That’s Why We Fight’ early on in both of our careers, and getting back in a room together was something we talked about every time we saw each other. When she sings, you believe it and I’m excited we could get this one out there to the fans.”
“Koe and I have known each other and been friends for a long time,” adds Langley. “He was one of the first artists I ever got to collaborate with and one of the first I went out on the road with back in 2022. Getting to write and record another song together is special.”
With both artists having huge years, “Jaded” is already a highly anticipated country collaboration even before its release.
Fans will also get the chance to hear the new song live as Wetzel continues The Night Champion World Tour, with dates across the U.S., Canada and Australia.
