Raising Cane’s is gearing up to mark a major milestone with the upcoming opening of its 1,000th restaurant, located right on Hollywood Blvd. This new location sits steps away from the famed TCL Chinese Theatre, Madam Tussands Wax Museum and the iconic Walk of Fame, giving visitors the perfect spot to refuel with a Box Combo & a refreshing sweet tea or lemonade while taking in the Hollywood experience.
This new location serves as a full circle moment for Owner and Founder Todd Graves. “It’s serendipitous being here today, celebrating the 1,000th Restaurant back where an important part of the Raising Cane’s story started for me,” Graves said during a press conference. “Tens of millions of people come here each year and I love the fact that they may be coming here for the first time to see the Hollywood Sign or the Walk of Fame and Cane’s will be part of that memory.”
Graves set out on this journey over 30 years ago and has since delivered a highly successful and authentic brand. Getting to this moment wasn’t without a lot of hard work and effort. He worked countless hours as a boilermaker in El Segundo and Torrance, both not far from Hollywood, to raise funds for his chicken finger concept. Todd’s determination eventually paid off as it paved the way to opening the first Raising Cane’s location in Baton Rouge in 1996.
Fast forward to 2026 and Raising Cane’s has grown to become one of the fastest growing restaurant brands in the world. While the menu remains simple, there is nothing ordinary about the brand. The taste of a Box Combo is consistent across all locations, and the energy and authenticity of the Cane’s Crew is unmatched and is what truly sets this brand apart.
“We have the same menu today as we did when I opened the first Raising Cane’s in Baton Rouge: Chicken Fingers, Cane’s Sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw and toast. A key part of growth is making sure every Box Combo tastes as good as the last and that the Customer experience is unparalleled,” said Graves. “We’re going to continue growing by focusing on doing what we do best: serving Craveable Chicken Finger Meals. We’ll do this by hiring great Crew, giving back to our local Communities, and ensuring that our food is always high quality and Craveable. We’re sticking to what we know and this will get us to the next 1,000 Restaurants and beyond.”
While the Hollywood opening marks a huge milestone, Raising Cane’s is continuing its growth with NINE additional restaurants in the LA area anticipated to open in 2026, including locations in Santa Monica and Inglewood near SoFi Stadium.
2026 is shaping up to be a massive year for Raising Cane’s. Todd Graves and team will celebrate its 30th anniversary in August. The growth doesn’t stop there, the brand plans to open nearly 100 new restaurants throughout the year and has set its sights on London and Mexico.
The Raising Cane’s on Hollywood Boulevard will be opening very soon. Be sure to check it out at 6933 Hollywood Blvd. This is one you won’t want to miss.
