Bailey Zimmerman clocked in for a shift this morning at Raising Cane’s on Broadway downtown Nashville. The singer/songwriter was full of energy as he served up fans some Box Combos as well as performed a an acoustic set.
Zimmerman also spent some time with media at a press conference where he talked about his upcoming performance at Nissan Stadium for CMA Fest, his new upcoming single “Comin’ in Cold” and much more!
“I’m so excited for CMA Fest,” said Zimmerman. “I have guests coming on stage with me and new songs to play. There are going to be 60,000 people, guest performers that people will go crazy over – it’s going to be insane. I’m going in at 110%!”
In addition to his CMA Fest performance, Zimmerman is heading out on his headlining “New To Country” Tour starting Friday, June 6th. On that same day, the talented artist is set to release his new single, “Comin’ in Cold.”
Of the new track Bailey shared, “There’s something about ‘Comin’ In Cold’ that I haven’t done before because it’s not about heartbreak – it’s about this girl that I shouldn’t be chasing. I’m chasing red flags and I’m addicted to it. She’s everything I want and nothing I can have, just like a beer on a Saturday night.”
“I’ve been trying to avoid being heartbroken and it’s always something. ‘Comin’ In Cold’ is about my life these last couple years. It’s more mature, but also not at the same time because I’m still chasing girls in bars.”
Bailey’s enthusiasm is infectious & authentic, and his passion for Raising Cane’s runs deep and was on prominent display as he spoke about his relationship with the popular restaurant and its owner, Todd Graves.
“I’m so thankful to Cane’s for sponsoring my tour last year. I didn’t have much time to show my love, but I am so appreciative. Every single tour stop I had Cane’s Chicken Fingers waiting for me.” said Zimmerman. “Todd is a legend and a friend. He’s a good human who puts God first and is an all-around great guy. Every time you walk into a Cane’s, you can tell someone put their soul into it. It’s not about money or fancy things, it’s about people.”
Graves surprised Bailey with a Face Time call to thank him for clocking in for a shift during a busy CMA Fest week and to wish him luck on his upcoming “New To Country” Tour.
“Bailey is a talented, energetic artist and friend and I’ve loved watching his career grow over the years. He puts his heart and soul into everything he does and you can feel it when you listen to his music,” Todd Graves shared. “It was great having him at our Nashville Flagship ahead of the kickoff to his new tour on Friday and headlining CMA Fest this weekend. I’m a big fan of Bailey’s and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for him. I’m hoping we’ll get to see each other again soon!”
