Triple Tigers’ multi-platinum entertainer, Russell Dickerson, releases his long-awaited lead track “Love You Like I Used To” off his new album due out later this year. The Nashville-based chart mainstay who has seen back-to-back arrivals with every single since his debut (“Yours,” “Blue Tacoma,” “Every Little Thing”), announced the release to his multitude of fans on social media last week, inciting an influx of excited chatter on the internet.
“The beginning of this song is intentionally different from me,” said Dickerson about the single. “It makes you think it is a breakup song but it is really a lead up to how great loves evolve and get better over time. Like all of my songs, I’ve lived it. I started dating my wife 10 years ago and it is true— I don’t love her like I used to and I think a lot of people will be able to relate to this song. It’s a really special song that I’m crazy proud of!”
The first new song off the upcoming sophomore album comes just one week after Dickerson celebrated a RIAA Gold Certification for his debut full-length debut album “Yours.” Dickerson also joins Kane Brown on the “The Worldwide Beautiful Tour,” later this month.
Dickerson’s “Love You Like I Used To” impacts radio on March 2nd, and is available today everywhere EVERYWHERE you can get music.
