Kenny Chesney’s epic summer tour came to end this past weekend, but not before he spread the love to more than 120K fans at Gillette Stadium for a two night stint to close out his tour.
“The ups, the downs, the road, the shows – have been leading to… this moment,” Chesney told the massive audience on the final night of the tour.
The night included a full set list, plus a few extras added in to the mix, giving everything he had to his fans for an unforgettable evening. One fan in particular shared a special moment with the country superstar. While performance Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds,” a young woman joined Chesney on stage. Kenny removed her cowboy hat that exposed her bald head, and then he removed his own. Head to head, Chesney sang “Every little thing’s gonna be alright…” It’s moments like this that will be a lasting memory for the young woman, Chesney himself, and the tens of thousands of fans that witnessed the touching moment.
After the show concluded, Chesney shared, “This night in Foxborough and the past 48 hours, I just wanna say one thing: shut the door, best night of our touring life ever! Cheers everybody.”
While Kenny’s tour has come to end, the singer/songwriter will gear up for the release of his forthcoming studio album, Cosmic Hallelujah, set for release on October 28. His latest single, “Setting The World On Fire” featuring P!nk, is at country radio now.
