As the old saying goes, “never say never,” that certainly held true for concert goer Rob Joyce this past Saturday night. While attending Keith Urban’s ripCord concert in Gilford, New Hampshire, Joyce and his girlfriend made some signs hoping to get the superstar’s attention.
Well, it worked for the aspiring musician! Rob’s girlfriend held up a sign indicating “It’s my boyfriend’s birthday”, while he held up one up asking “Can I play your guitar?” This type of request via a hand held sign is probably one that Urban doesn’t see that often, so Keith makes Rob’s night a little more special. Inviting the fan to the stage, Keith literally takes the guitar off his shoulder and Rob Joyce becomes part of the band and plays Urban’s “Good Thing.”
To top it all off, Keith posted a video after his show giving props to Rob Joyce and his skills. What an epic night, not only for Rob Joyce, but for all the fans that got to witness such an amazing moment. It is reasons like this that Keith Urban is a totalĀ class act and well respected artist in the industry and beyond.
