Rising country artist Jordyn Mallory has been making quite the splash with her debut single, “Boat Friend.” The new track, written by Jordyn Mallory, Greg Becker and Mike Shimshack, can be found on her debut self-titled EP that was released this past spring.

Of her debut single Jordyn shares, “Two summers ago, I was in a Jeep with my girlfriends when one of the girls said ‘I really wanna be single this summer but we need to find some guys with a boat,’ and I said ‘You don’t want a boyfriend, you need a boat friend.’ Everyone laughed and I immediately knew I was going to write that song.”

Mallory brings “Boat Friend” to life with the release of the music video. Filmed in Hendersonville, TN on Old Hickory Lake, the video captures the fun, sassy song all while showcasing the boating scene that many love to be a part of.
