The full-force momentum continues for Columbia Nashville’s Maren Morris. The singer-songwriter’s debut album, HERO, tops the Billboard Country Albums Chart at No. 1 and rounded out its release week in the Top 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart.

Maren’s HERO is the first debut album release of 2016 to come in at No.1 opening week on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. For her label imprint, Columbia Nashville, Morris’ opening week success marks her as the first artist in the history of the label imprint to come in at No. 1 with a debut album release in the Soundscan era. Additionally, Maren in the first female artist within Sony Music Nashville, since Kellie Pickler in 2006, to hit No.1 during release week with a debut album.

Morris’ debut single, “My Church,” put her on the map, and the journey is set to continue with her new single “80’s Mercedes” heading to country radio.

HERO, featuring both “My Church” and “80’s Mercedes,” is available now at retail stores and digital music outlets.
