LoCash has even more to love about life these days. The duo was surprised this past weekend during their CMA Music Festival performance with the amazing news that their hit single, “I Love This Life,” has sold over 500,000 copies and officially certified Gold by the RIAA.
Prior to their final song of their set, Reviver Records label head David Ross walked out on stage to surprise Chris Lucas and Preston Brust with their gold record plaques.
“These are two of the hardest working guys in this business, and until you’ve seen their work ethic firsthand, you’ll never realize how deserving they really are to have achieved this milestone,” said Ross.
“I’m proud to have them on Reviver, and I’m proud to be a part of our amazing team who helped launch the success of this song; but most of all, I’m grateful to the fans – all of you – who’ve made this happen. We hope this is a first of many more major sales achievements for LOCASH,” he added.
This week is about to become even more memorable for the duo as their debut full length studio album, The Fighters, is set for release on June 17. The new album features eleven tracks, including hit single “I Love This Life” and newly released single “I Know Somebody.” The Fighters is available for pre-order now on iTunes.
