Blake Shelton has a lot to celebrate with the release of his latest studio album, If I’m Honest. The new collection of music serves as the top selling album this week coming in at #1 on the Billboard Top Albums Sales Chart, plus marks his third consecutive number one on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. In addition, Blake’s lead single from the new album, “Came Here To Forget,” peaks at the top spot on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Country Aircheck charts, scoring his 17th consecutive number one single and 22nd number one single overall.
“At almost 40 years old and 15 years in this business, who would’ve ever thought I would have the biggest week of my career now,” said Shelton. “Number one album, number one song and number one movie. I am beside myself my friends. Thank you for an incredible journey…”
At this time, Blake Shelton’s new album, If I’m Honest, has become the biggest selling country debut album since October of 2015. This new album release also marks the second biggest selling debut week of Shelton’s career.
Blake Shelton has several appearances lined up to showcase his new music. The country superstar is set to appear on the 2016 CMT Music Awards on June 8 where he will debut “Doing It To Country Songs” with Country Music Hall of Fame members, The Oak Ridge Boys. The following day, Shelton will appear on Ellen to perform his new #1 hit single, “Came Here To Forget.”
