Sam Hunt paid tribute to the late Merle Haggard last night during the 2016 All for the Hall Benefit Concert. Covering Haggard’s “The Way I Am,” Hunt gave a stellar rendition of the icon’s song.
This is not the first time Sam has covered a classic country song. Earlier this year at the 2016 Country Radio Seminar, Hunt captivated the crowd with Waylon Jennings’ “Belle of the Ball.” (watch here)
The 6th Annual All for the Hall Benefit Concert, hosted by Keith Urban and Vince Gill, raised money for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s music education programs.
