If you add up all the good times had and pick up lines delivered at Toby Keith shows, the number might run to eight or nine figures. Especially considering Keith’s tours have drawn more than a million fans each of the last 14 years. And now he’s bringing it all together on the Toby Keith Good Times & Pick Up Lines Tour presented by Ford F-Series.
Launching May 29 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, Good Times & Pick Up Lines already has close to 30 dates on the books (itinerary below). More dates are expected, go to www.tobykeith.com for updates. Fun and flirtation are to be expected when Toby brings “Drunk Americans” together for another Ford F-Series sponsored trek.
And speaking of “Drunk Americans,” Keith’s thinly veiled social commentary continues its nationwide radio airplay celebration of the communal moments that bring barriers down and glasses up. The single is another pillar in Toby’s prodigious musical cannon.
The new tour and single build on an eventful 2014 that included receiving the ACM Career Achievement Award, the Spirit of the USO Award in recognition of his support of armed forces service members, the capstone performance on the nationally televised ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute To The Troops, nomination to the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame and many more accolades.
His well-documented road prowess extended to Australia with the Hammer Down Under Tour. The Shut Up And Hold On Tour presented by Ford F-Series packed venues coast to coast. And Keith’s Forbes-topping business empire continued to expand, from his signature Wild Shot Mezcal – which will again have a presence on the tour with their inflatable bar offering signature cocktails on select dates – to I Love This Bar & Grill restaurants and the first of many Big Dog Daddy Ice Houses.
