Life can get complicated, but love can actually be quite simple — at least that’s what six-time chart-topping country music superstar Rodney Atkins proclaims in his brand new single, “Eat Sleep Love You Repeat.”
Launching today, October 28 at country radio and all digital retailers, the ear-catching sing-a-long with more than a hint of Atkins’ characteristic country twang tells the story of a “rebel not looking too far down the street” who has never been one to have a to-do list “hanging on the fridge.” Yet, when it comes to his love, his day-to-day itinerary serves as a straightforward, yet romantic listing of the necessities of his and his sweetheart’s world: Eat. Sleep. Love You. Repeat.
Serving as Atkins’ first new music in over a year, “Eat Sleep Love You Repeat” made its way to fans earlier this week with a sneak peek via Atkins’ social platforms. Written by the talented Walker Hayes and Ryan Bizarri and augmented by the unforgettable backup vocals of Hayes, producer Ted Hewitt and Atkins’ band members Judd Fuller and Liam Bailey, the single will be incorporated into Atkins’ upcoming live shows at the Shining Star Casino in Mahnomen, Minn. on November 7, followed by a very special “Songwriter’s Night” at Nashville’s Listening Room Café on November 8 in support of the Tennessee Voices for Children (TVC) organization. Atkins, who recently returned from his third USO entertainment tour abroad, will also perform at a private event in Nashville for Veterans Airlift Command on November 14.
