Elektra Records country singer-songwriter Dean Alexander and Streamsound Records recording artist Jaida Dreyer’s song “If Your Heart Can Handle” It will be featured on tomorrow’s episode of ABC’s award-winning series Nashville.
Fans can get an exclusive look into the songwriting process on today’s “On The Record” episode (watch here) where Dean and Jaida sat down with actors Chris Carmack (Will Lexington) and Aubrey Peeples (Layla Grant) who will perform the duet.
“I had never written a duet in my life, but I had the hook in my hook book, she ran with it and that’s where it all came from,” mentions Dean of composing the duet.
The single is available now on iTunes and at ABC.com/MusicLounge and will air on tomorrow nights episode of Nashville, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
