Details on country crooner Jerrod Niemann’s imminent nuptial plans with fiancée, Morgan Petek in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Sunday, October 12, have been revealed exclusively to People Magazine. In lieu of wedding gifts, Niemann and Petek have requested donations be made to Niemann’s recently established non-profit organization, Free The Music USA.

Born out of the couple’s deeply rooted belief that every child deserves the opportunity to explore their own musical talent, Free The Music USA is dedicated to collecting used musical instruments and giving them to children in need. Philanthropy has always been a cornerstone of Niemann and Petek’s relationship, and their shared passion for promoting music education is perfectly reflected in Free The Music USA. Donations in honor of their upcoming nuptials can be made here.

Niemann made headlines recently, capturing the attention of Music Row, with maverick creativity and on-stage antics at his first headlining performance at the iconic Ryman Auditorium on Friday, September 12. Although he has played her hallowed stage on occasion, Niemann fulfilled a lifelong dream on Friday by having his name appear on the ticket as the marquee act. Openers Logan Mize and Chris Lane amped up the crowd for Niemann’s unforgettable 75-minute set, which included his current single “Buzz Back Girl,” “Lover, Lover,” “Donkey,” as well as fan-favorite “One More Drinkin’ Song.”

“From stepping on the stage at the Ryman the other night, to this very moment, I still can’t believe I’ve had the great honor of a headlining a show at The Mother Church Of Country Music,” says Niemann. “From all of the familiar faces in the auditorium that night, to the first timers, I must say the crowd took the show to another level. I will never forget or take for granted the way they made me and the guys feel. Chris [Lane] and Logan [Mize] really set the tone for an amazing night and played awesome sets. Simply a dream come true.”

Niemann found huge success this year with his RIAA Platinum-certified multi-week number one hit “Drink to That All Night” from his third major label release High Noon. He recently announced his headlining Get Your Buzz Back Tour, which kicks off in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Oct. 24. Niemann’s latest single, “Buzz Back Girl,” was just released to country radio and is currently climbing the charts.
