CMA Vocal Duo of the Year nominees The Swon Brothers – Zach and Colton – traveled to Russia in February to perform during NBC’s Today show Winter Olympic coverage, but the duo is keeping it closer to home on October 13, as they head to New York City for a return performance on Today. The appearance comes one day prior to the release of the duo’s self-titled Arista Nashville album, featuring their Top-15-and-climbing debut single, “Later On.”
The Swons will also be in the Big Apple to play songs from their new album one week from today, on September 29, to kick-off Nashville’s New Music in New York. In celebration of the birthday Grand Ole Opry’s birthday and Country Music Month, both in October, the Opry and Southwest Airlines® are returning to New York City for a second annual series of free acoustic performances at the Southwest Porch at Bryant Park.
As part of the experience, the artists will travel to Manhattan with the Opry’s signature microphone stand and a replica of the famed circle of wood from center stage at the Opry House. The free shows are open to the public, with a complete schedule and information online at opry.com/nyc.
Co-produced by The Swon Brothers and Mark Bright (Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans), the duo’s self-titled album is available for pre-order HERE.
