Dustin Lynch Inducted Into Grand Ole Opry

PLATINUM-selling Broken Bow Records star DUSTIN LYNCH has made it to the mountaintop of Country music, officially becoming the newest member of the GRAND OLE OPRY last night (9/18).

Inducted into the hallowed institution by iconic entertainer and Opry member REBA MCENTIRE, the moment came as a complete surprise to Lynch. He later shared, “I wouldn’t have wanted to be inducted by anyone else … Reba’s the top of my list. She could have been anywhere in the world today and chose to be here. That means so much to me.”

Lynch was praised for bringing a tasteful sense of modern energy to his well-documented love of traditional Country, and welcomed into the Opry’s permanent cast by a packed house of fans, friends and family. Realizing a lifelong dream, the Tennessee native could barely contain his emotions as he stepped into the Opry’s famous onstage circle for the first time as a full member.

“I told everybody before I came out here I’m a crybaby, and I get it from my dad,” said Lynch. Thanking his friends, family, bandmates, and everyone who plays a part in his career for sharing in his dreams, he continued, “This is one of those dreams right now … Thank you for allowing us to live the dream.”

There was even more good news in store for Lynch, as BBR Music Group Executive Vice President Jon Loba stepped up to surprise the star with a special commemorative plaque. Lynch has now surpassed 1 BILLION DIGITAL STREAMS over the course of his career, stretching all the way back to his PLATINUM-certified 2012 debut, “Cowboys and Angels.” Since then the hitmaker has racked up five more PLATINUM or GOLD #1 singles (“Where It’s At,” “Hell of a Night,” “Mind Reader,” “Seein’ Red” and “Small Town Boy”) and three Top 5 Country albums (DUSTIN LYNCH, WHERE IT’S AT and CURRENT MOOD).

Brett Eldredge Showcases His Beloved Dog Edgar In “Love Someone” Music Video

Fans of country superstar Brett Eldredge get a long-awaited glimpse into the head of man’s best friend in his brand new music video for current single “Love Someone.” Directed by Jeff Venable and shot in the Nashville area, the video encapsulates the perfect day as imagined by Eldredge’s beloved dog Edgar – candle-lit steak dinners, motorcycle rides across the city, afternoons at the park and more.

Eldredge has been combing the country with festival dates and television appearances all season long. He set a new attendance record at Chicago’s Windy City Smokeout Festival, where he drew a crowd of more than 18,000 fans, friends and family members. Earlier this month he was joined by GRAMMY winner Meghan Trainor for a CMT Crossroads event filmed just outside of Music City. Together they performed hits ranging from her debut single “All About That Bass” to his chart-topper “Drunk On Your Love.” The pair first collaborated in 2016 on a version of “Baby It’s Cold Outside” from Eldredge’s holiday album Glow, a tune that peaked at No. 1 on the Holiday Music and Adult Contemporary charts. In August, he took the outdoor stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! and also appeared on ABC’s CMA Fest concert special.

The summer may be winding down, but the Platinum-selling singer / songwriter and entertainer is revving up with the second leg of his The Long Way Tour, which kicked off on September 13 in Denver and will continue through October. Eldredge will treat audiences to his collection of six chart-topping singles as well as fan favorites from his latest self-titled album, which arrived at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top All-Genre Albums Sales and Top Country Albums charts upon release. He will once again bring label mate and special guest Devin Dawson along for the ride as well as newcomer Abby Anderson (see below).
