CountryMusicRocks 2014 New Artists To Watch

2013 has been an absolutely amazing year in country music and has paved the way for another fierce year ahead with 2014.  Country Music Newcomers have been making a significant impression on the genre and serve as a big part of the future of country music.  We anticipate 2014 to be another remarkable year, especially with the new talent that is emerging. 

Each year CountryMusicRocks puts together a list of new artists to watch.  We’ve selected 14 artists that we think will make a big impact on the country music genre. Be sure to keep your eyes on & ears tuned in, we anticipate you’ll be hearing and seeing a lot of these artists throughout 2014!!  Support your favorite country newcomers by requesting their new music at your local country radio station.

CountryMusicRocks New Artists To Watch – 2014 (in no specific order)

1) Dan + Shay
Signed with Warner Music Nashville, the duo released their debut single, “19 You + Me” to country radio. 2) Chris Janson
With two singles already released, “Better I Don’t” and “Cut Me Some Slack,” as well as a 5-song EP, Janson has already made a fantastic impression.  Signed with Bigger Picture Group, the momentum will no doubt continue with the release of his debut album.  He is a testament to the country music genre and we are excited to see what unfolds for Janson. 3) Joel Crouse
2013 has proven to be an amazing year for Show Dog-Universal Music recording artist Joel Crouse.  With the release of debut single “If You Want Some,” followed by two additional releases including his latest “Why God Made Love Songs,” fans have quickly gravitated to the country newcomer. In addition, Crouse toured with the likes of Taylor Swift, Darius Rucker, The Band Perry and More. 4) Danielle Bradbery
Season 4 Winner of The Voice, Danielle Bradbery, just released her debut self-titled album which features her hit single “The Heart of Dixie.”  Bradbery has already made a big impact on country music and will no doubt continue to do so throughout 2014.  At the young age of 17, Bradbery will not only serve as a great female artist in country music, but also a great role model to the younger generation of country music fans.  Keep up with Danielle Bradbery by visiting her Official Website, Like her on Facebook and Follow her on Twitter.

5) Chase Rice
With essentially no record label deal, manager or song on country radio, and with a lot of hard work, Chase Rice made a name for himself.  His hard work, dedication & passion for his music, and his fans, is evident as well as inspiring.  With the release of his Ready Set Roll EP, things are turning around for the independent artist and his new single “Ready Set Roll” is now rockin’ country radio.  We anticipate 2014 being a huge year for Rice.  Keep up with Chase by visiting his Official Website, Like him on Facebook and Follow him on Twitter.

6) Blackjack Billy

7) Natalie Stovall and the Drive
Natalie Stovall has a huge voice that definitely belongs on country radio.  Backed by her band The Drive, Natalie definitely makes a lasting impression.  Signed with HitShop Records, Natalie Stovall and the Drive released their debut EP featuring 6 solid songs. Their debut single, “Baby Come On With It,” is expected to impact country radio early 2014. 8) The Swon Brothers
The Swon Brothers initially made their debut on Season 4 of The Voice as part of Team Blake. While they didn’t go on to win the show, they certainly did go on to prove that they have a voice in country music.  The duo premiered their debut single “Later On” on The Voice and it instantly raced up to the top of the iTunes Country Chart within 24 hours.  Signed with Sony Music Nashville, Zac and Colton no doubt have an amazing year ahead promoting their debut single & working on their debut album. 9) Lucy Hale
The Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale will be kicking off the new year with the highly anticipated release of her debut single, “You Sound Good To Me,” on January 7. Signed with DMG Nashville/Bigger Picture Group, Lucy will no doubt make a lasting impression on country music listeners, as well as bring additional fans to the genre from her PLL fan base. 10) Eric Paslay

11) Dallas Smith

12) Jon Pardi
Capitol Records recording artist Jon Pardi had a big year in 2013, and it is about to get even bigger in 2014 with the release of his debut album, Write You A Song.  Pardi’s first two single releases, “Missin’ You Crazy” and “Up All Night” have both been big hits with fans and serve as a great introduction to his debut album. 13) Lindsay Ell
Stoney Creek Records’ Lindsey Ell just released her debut single “Trippin’ On Us” to country radio. 14) Cole Swindell
