Kellie Pickler “The Woman I Am” Album Review

Kellie Pickler is set to release her fourth studio album, The Woman I Am, on Monday, November 11. The new album features 12 impressive songs, three of which were co-written by Pickler, and serves as her first release on Black River Entertainment. Produced by Luke Wooten and Frank Liddell, The Woman I Am features her already released hit singles “Someone Somewhere Tonight” and “Little Bit Gypsy.”

Pickler’s latest single “Little Bit Gypsy” kicks off the album and immediately engages listeners right from the start.  The momentum continues in full force as she delivers track after track. Kellie shows off her feisty side with “Ring For Sale,” and her personality radiates on tracks such as “Buzzin” and “Bonnie and Clyde.”  Pickler pays tribute to her great-grandmother with “Selma Drye” and gives an impressive delivery with “I Forgive You.” Album titled track “The Woman I Am,” co-written with her husband Kyle Jacobs, is beyond amazing. The simple, yet beautiful, music arrangement captures Kellie’s strong and graceful vocals on this autobiographical song.

All 12 tracks are impressive on this album, and once again Kellie does a great job maintaining the traditional country sound in her music.  The Woman I Am serves a game changer for Kellie, and it is time for ones to take notice.  Kellie Pickler has put in the time and effort over the years honing her talents, and she truly makes for a standout country music female vocalist.

The Woman I Am will be available on Monday, November 11.  Pick up a copy of Pickler’s new album in retail store, or online at a digital music outlet such as iTunes by clicking HERE.
