“Love or Money,” the first solo release from Sugarland’s Kristian Bush, is available today on iTunes and other digital retailers in the United States and worldwide! Grab your copy on iTunes now by clicking HERE.
The song, co-written by Bush, Nashville hitmaker Jeff Cohen, and Relient K frontman Matthew Thiessen, was initially released in the UK and Europe in March of 2013 as a “thank you” to everyone who welcomed Kristian as he toured across the pond with the CMA Songwriters Series, and kicked off the first day of the inaugural C2C: Country To Country Festival at the O2 Arena in London. Now completely remixed by acclaimed producer Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sugarland), the song is at last ready to find its way into the headphones of American audiences, where fans have been not-so-patiently waiting all year.
“When I released the overseas version of ‘Love or Money’ earlier this year, I promised my American fans that I would make them part of the story just as soon as possible,” says Bush. “Well, there’s no time like the present. This whole journey started because I wanted to thank my European fans for their support – and now I get to say THANK YOU to everyone here at home, in a big way. They deserve it!”
Bush continues to be a live presence on stages across the country, and he and his full band (including acclaimed roots duo Larkin Poe) will play the Silverado Mainstage at the State Fair of Texas this Sunday, Oct. 13. Bush also recently announced the guests for his annual Thanksgiving shows, scheduled for Dec. 1-2 at legendary listening room Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, GA: he will be joined in the round by fellow country music superstar Chris Young (“Aw Naw”; “Tomorrow”; “You”) and platinum-selling hit songwriter Brett James (Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney). Sunday night’s shows are sold out; some tickets remain for Monday and can be purchased via eddiesattic.com.
