The Grand Ole Opry® joined Women Rock For The Cure™ in the fight against breast cancer last night with its fifth annual “Opry Goes Pink” show.  Grammy® award-winner LeAnn Rimes flipped the switch on the Opry’s signature barn backdrop, turning it pink for the night as artists performed in support of breast cancer awareness.

The special show also included the Opry debuts of Mandisa, whose current single and video “Overcomer” highlights survivors and fighters of cancer, and Dove Award-winner Natalie Grant. Among others who appeared were Amy Grant and Opry members Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, and Jeannie Seely.  Women Rock For The Cure™ also honored Jessi Pruett as the honorary young survivor tonight. The evening also included numerous activities recognizing breast cancer survivors, with $5 from every ticket sold given to Women Rock For The Cure™.

The Grand Ole Opry® is presented by Humana®. Opry performances are held every weekend of the year, and the Tuesday Night Opry continues through Dec. 10. Click here to purchase tickets.
