ZUUS Media and ReverbNation announce a partnership dedicated to discovering and enabling new and emerging artists. The partnership kicks off in October at the inaugural Delta Country Jam Music Festival in Tunica, Mississippi. The festival will welcome more than 25,000 fans for an unforgettable music experience featuring today’s top performing country artists.

ReverbNation currently provides music promotion and distribution services to more than 3 million active artists, while ZUUS operates its groundbreaking multi-channel music video network available across all platforms.  ZUUS will provide ReverbNation artists with a unique outlet for discovery and a platform to open on a national stage while bringing their message and music videos to a wider audience. The partnership also provides an opportunity for ZUUS to expand its already deep library with music videos and new original content featuring ReverbNation’s “under the radar” and breakout artists.

“ZUUS was conceived and built by true music experts and artists. We exist to celebrate and promote musical artists of all stripes – from up-and-comers to well-established veterans. Our experts program videos and music-driven original content with three key principles in mind: access, authenticity and credibility. ReverbNation’s roster possesses all three and we’re excited to extend the ZUUS platform to their benefit,” said Steve Goldstein, CEO and co-founder of ZUUS Media.

“From my experience leading American Idol marketing at owner/producer CORE Media Group, I witnessed firsthand the power of a networked platform to lift talented artists from obscurity and present them to the nation. This partnership is aimed to enable artists in the same spirit,” said Chris Gannett, ZUUS Media’s CMO.

The partnership kicks off in October with the Delta Country Jam Battle of the Bands competition presented by ZUUS Country at the music festival. ReverbNation country and bluegrass artists in the festival region surrounding Tunica, Mississippi were called to enter for a chance to win a deluxe artist package: (1) Open for Tim McGraw, (2) Play for audiences throughout the Festival weekend in the ZUUS Country Saloon (a deluxe hospitality tent offering live music, drinks, food and more to festival guests, VIPs and Press), (3) Have a custom music video filmed and directed by – and aired on – ZUUS Country TV, and (4) Host a ZUUS Country TV “Artist Takeover” block featuring the world premiere of their new ZUUS-produced music video.  The contest received over 1,000 local submissions in the first week alone.
