ACM Lifting Lives® announced today that the September “My Cause” web feature will spotlight Florida Georgia Line and the charity organization, Outnumber Hunger.  The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies.

My Cause is a way for ACM Lifting Lives to tangibly demonstrate the Academy’s support of country music artists.  Many people have been helped by these fantastic charities, and ACM Lifting Lives bolsters that support by increasing awareness and funding for these very deserving causes.  Over the past two years, ACM Lifting Lives has donated more than $190,000 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make a donation in addition to driving fan awareness.

This month, “My Cause: Outnumber Hunger” highlights a partnership between Big Machine Label Group, General Mills and Feeding America to help fight hunger in local communities across the country. Approximately one in six Americans struggles with hunger and this initiative is responsible for over 6.7 million meals secured this year alone. It’s an issue that often affects hardworking families who face tough decisions about whether to pay bills or pay for food. For more information on the program, visit outnumberhunger.com.
