–Atlantic Records’ recording artist Brett Eldredge lands his first No. 1 as his current single, “”Don’t Ya,”” slides into the top spot on the Mediabase / Country Aircheck chart and continues its reign at the peak of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for the second week running.

This news comes on the heels of the release of his debut album, Bring You Back, which premiered at No. 1 on iTunes’ Country Albums chart on August 6. Album launch week was a series of firsts for Eldredge as he made his late night debut on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and appeared on both “Live with Kelly and Michael” and “Today” for the first time in his career. On July 30, the singer was also surprised with his first RIAA Gold single for ““Don’t Ya”” at a special Nashville celebration.

“”My main goal has always been to make music that makes people feel something – happy or sad, laughter or tears . . . something real,”” said Eldredge.  “”For my fans to respond and actually buy my music and want to come on this crazy ride with me is the best feeling in the world.  To me, it means we’re connected.  So a huge ‘thank you’ to my fans and to country radio for making all of this possible.””

The past few months have seen the ““Don’t Ya”” singer opening for Taylor Swift on 19 dates of “The RED Tour” and appearing on the LP Field and Riverfront stages during CMA Fest 2013 in Nashville. This summer Eldredge can be seen throughout the country at various fairs and festivals in addition to select tour dates with Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert.
