Grammy-nominated recording artist Will Hoge is on fire this week with his song “Strong” prominently featured in General Motor’s 2014 Chevy Silverado ad campaign that kicks off 7/15 nationwide. The “Strong” spot which debuted 7/4 in Texas will be shown during the Major League Baseball® All-Star Game on Tuesday 7/16 on FOX.

Written by Hoge, “Strong” speaks to the strength of hardworking, honest and dependable men and women. The Chevy Silverado anthem is now available at select digital retailers and will be hitting the country radio airwaves later this month. The buzzworthy tune will be a special bonus track on Hoge’s forthcoming album, NEVER GIVE IN. The new album is set for a 10/15 release via Thirty Tigers and is the follow-up to his lauded 2011 project NUMBER SEVEN. Watch the music video for “Strong” HERE.

The critically acclaimed singer-songwriter has crisscrossed North America playing as many as 220 shows a year since 2000 and will headline the Bowery Ballroom in New York City next Thursday 7/25 with opener Wade Bowen. His stage shows are equal ingredients of sweat, charisma and rock & roll revival which have landed him coveted opening slots with John Mellencamp, Pistol Annies, Shinedown, Sugarland and ZZ Top.

NEVER GIVE IN is a life motto for the Nashville native who catapulted into the national spotlight in 2012. Spending the early part of the year supporting Dierks Bentley’s arena headlining tour, Hoge was introduced to his first dose of mainstream country. The release of the Eli Young Band platinum-selling smash “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” which he co-wrote with Eric Paslay, garnered an enormous amount of buzz at Country radio, earning Hoge nominations for the 2013 GRAMMY Country Song of the Year, 2013 ACM Song of the Year and 2012 CMA Song of the Year. While raising Hoge’s profile as a hit songwriter, the song also introduced his music and records to the Country music audience; a decade removed from major label release on Atlantic Records, Carousel.
