Arista Nashville recording artists The Henningsens have been turning heads this summer with their debut EP, the success of their first Top 15 single, “American Beautiful,” and a summer on the road with superstar Brad Paisley, and now the band has announced both a new single and a cool new way to interact with them via the newly launched website, TheHenningsensWereHere.com.
On the site, fans can vote to choose from an ongoing range of activities for the band to accomplish, with the end results documented in photos and video and posted online. By visiting the site, or by keeping up with the band on facebook.com/TheHenningsens and Twitter.com/TheHenningsens, fans will be alerted to new opportunities to help the band make their mark across the country, with community visits, charitable activities, performances, and more, some of which will not just be voted, but also suggested by the fans themselves.
From heartfelt to wacky, among the upcoming voting opportunities as the band tours the country will be the chance to select a Chicago fire station to receive a band serenade and pizza delivery and a San Francisco non-profit to receive a $500 donation, while other votes could span choosing crazy regional foods for the band to eat or selecting a song for the band to parody.
Voting is currently open on TheHenningsensWereHere.com for a chance to choose what Clara Henningsen will wear for the band’s Fourth of July performance of their Top 15 debut hit, “American Beautiful,” on ABC’s Good Morning America.
Also, the band is now set to follow “American Beautiful” at country radio with another track from their EP, the beautiful ballad “I Miss You,” co-written by the trio and Don Poythress. Right now, fans can stream the song in the player on the band’s website at TheHenningsens.com.
