As a complication of his congestive heart failure, Mr. Randy Travis has suffered a stroke and is currently undergoing surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. He is in critical condition. We will have updates as they become available. His family and friends here with him at the hospital request your prayers and support.
Earlier today Dr. William Gray, the Director of cardiovascular services at Baylor Medical Center at McKinney, Texas, and Dr. Michael Mack, the director of cardiovascular disease at the Baylor Health Care System in Dallas reported via video an update on Randy’s condition. As indicated in the update, his condition had stabilized and he was showing signs of improvement. Video of the update can be seen HERE.
