Luke Bryan and Universal Music Nashville hosted a private party in Nashville last night, July 10, to toast the town for its participation and continued support of his career and to also celebrate the double Platinum selling status of his tailgates & tanlines album, the ACM Entertainer of the Year’s most successful album to date.

In addition to being certified for sales over two million, the project has now sold a total of nine million tracks and includes three #1 and double Platinum singles.

“These are amazing days!” Luke said as he greeted the crowd. “You guys are such a blessing to me. To have music in your hearts and then go take that music and turn singers into stars.” Also celebrated was Luke’s new #1 hit “Crash My Party,” which is the title track and first song from his forth coming August 13 release. This marks his seventh career #1 single and sets a Billboard record as the largest 1-week audience since 2005 with 45.5 million listeners.

Luke is currently headlining his “Dirt Road Diaries Tour” through the fall, selling out venues across North America.
