Backstage Creations, specialists in award show gifts and custom backstage Celebrity Retreats™, produced the “Celebrity Retreat™” at the American Country Awards that aired live from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 10. Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth co-hosted with performances by Rascal Flatts, Kip Moore, Jake Owen, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, and Little Big Town and appearances by Miranda Lambert, Natasha Bedingfield, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Casey James, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Brice, Jana Kramer, Dustin Lynch and Chris Young. 

Highlights from the Celebrity Retreat included:

Singer, Jana Kramer, loved Ballasox, saying “These are so comfortable!” and ACA Best New Artist winner, Lauren Alaina exclaimed “these are heaven!” and talked about slipping them on after she finished press.

ACA Best New Artist winner, Lauren Alaina,  bee-lined it for Bottero’s lace up brown boots, and was overhead saying “These are the cutest boots I’ve ever seen. I thought I’ve seen all of the styles but these are so different and great.” Kristin Chenoweth said she loved the soft leather and had a hard time selecting from the great assortment of boots. 

CC Corso Como shipped out six pair of size 5 shoes specifically for ACA co-host Kristin Chenoweth, who said “It is hard to find comfortable high heels. I can never find shoes in size 5!” She shrieked with excitement as she tried on the shoes and lounged in the Ken Wolfson designed Celebrity Retreat.

Performer, Kimberly Shlapman of Little Big Town loved her turquoise and black necklace from Coulee Creek Designs saying “I couldn’t be happier – I can’t believe how unique these pieces are!”  Lee Brice is excited about the upcoming men’s line because he “loves to wear turquoise.”

Lynard Skynyrd guitarist, Rickey Medlocke raved about jeri designs, and said “I love the guitar strap. I am putting it on my new guitar.” Tom Gossin of Gloriana liked the design because, “these are so me – simple and awesome.” 

ACA Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Jake Owen, was excited to see McFadinWhen I bring this diaper bag home to my wife and new baby, I am going to be a hero! I still carry the shave bag with the studded music notes you gifted me three years ago.”

San Francisco Giants World Series Champion, Barry Zito, said  of Resistol apparel “This is cool! I’m from California, so I don’t have any shirts like this.”

Dustin Lynch was excited to receive Teva boots. He said, “These are so cool. I haven’t been able to find any boots that I like, these are awesome!” 

Gift Bag items also included:

ACA co-host, Kristin Chenoweth, kept petting the BootRugs, saying “These are totally me. They match my jacket!” 

The Eli Young Band was super excited to give the fantastic Dooney & Bourke bags to their wives.

ACA co-host, Kristin Chenoweth, loved playing Country Dance 2.   After competing in our dance-off for 15 minutes, she said “I love this game! I can’t wait to play this game at home.” 

Gloriana brothers, Tom and Mike Gossin, had fun joking around about JTSplatmaster’s paintball guns, saying, “I am going to have so much fun with this. Watch out brother, I got you.” Love and Theft duo, Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson are excited to take these on tour “We’re going to have so much fun with these on the bus!”
